High School

The 9th-12th grade years are some of the most important in your whole life. As a student you are growing up into a young man or woman and figuring out who you are and what your purpose is. Challenging classes, sports teams, friendships, changing family relationships – there’s a lot going on and life can get pretty busy! Our student ministry wants to come alongside you during your high school career and help you mature into the amazing person that you were created to be. This is an exciting time and we’re honored to get to be a part of it with you!

Here’s what’s going on in the High School Ministry…

Oasis is a place for high school students to hang out with their friends in a community focused on one thing – to find out what each of us is really thirsty for – a relationship with Jesus Christ. At each event, there are fun games, deep worship, an engaging message, dinner, and small group discussion. The atmosphere is fun, relaxed, and inviting. This is the place to invite all your friends! See you there every Sunday night from 5:00-7:00pm.

Student breakfast is a time for middle school and high school students to gather downstairs in the TPC gym in between Sunday morning services for breakfast and an engaging, discussion-based Bible study. High School director Dan Marotta will be leading the study. This is a great opportunity for students to dive deeper into Christian community and God’s Word. Join us at 10:00am on Sundays!

Are you ready to take the next step? D-groups [discipleship groups] are organized by grade and gender and are the core of the student ministry. Incredible adult volunteers from within TPC lead each group with the goal of bringing students to maturity in their relationship with Jesus Christ. D-Groups meet during the 2nd half of each OASIS event on Sunday evenings.

The Senior Forum is a special discussion group for high school seniors. Each Sunday evening, during the D-Group hour of OASIS, a guest speaker is invited to lead a discussion helping students prepare to leave home and head to college and beyond. This is a very practical way for senior students to process questions, fears, thoughts, and interests with each other and with older, more experienced members of our church community.
